The 2010 Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day parade will be held Wed. March 17th 2010.

Here is the latest info from Pat Costello:

Dear Brothers,

We have made arrangements with 1st Student Bus Company to provide transportation to and from the St. Patrick’s Day Parade site and we need to know who wants to take the bus.  The cost for members is $10 per head.  If a parent wants to hold a child on his/her lap, there is no charge for the child.   Pat Costello is collecting the fee, so you can either give him cash or a check payable to  AOH – Fr. Donnelly Div..  You can mail your fee to Pat.   If you want to drop your payment off directly, please give Pat a call before coming over.  You  can also pay him at the next meeting in February.  The deadline for payment is March 12th.

Here’s the plan:

Departure for Parade: Hop on the bus at Governor Stumpy’s at 321 E. Gregory, KC, MO, at 9:15 A.M. and arrive at 33rd and Pennsylvania near Browne’s Market by around 10:00 A.M. or earlier to assemble for the Parade which kicks off at 11:00 A.M.  The Parade begins at 33rd and Broadway and goes south on Broadway ending at  43rd and JC Nichols Pkwy.   By the way, Stumpy’s opens at 6:00 A.M. and will serve breakfast until 11:00 A.M.   This won’t affect our bus pick-up and drop-off plans, but just In case you are interested, O’Neill’s is  opening at 9:00 A.M. that morning and serving breakfast until 10:30 A.M..

Returning: We expect to be marching near the beginning of the parade, hence we will probably arrive at 43rd and JC Nichols Pkwy by around noon or so.  The bus will be waiting for us just down the block to the south along JC Nichols Pkwy.  We anticipate departing by around 12:15 P.M. or 12:30 P.M., returning to Stumpy’s.
